Position Summary

As a Back Server at Mika, you will support the Front of House team by maintaining a seamless and elevated guest experience. This role is essential to the rhythm of service—responsible for resetting tables, running food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and anticipating both guest and team needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist servers and bartenders by running food, beverages, and necessary supplies to tables promptly and accurately

  • Reset tables quickly and neatly between seatings

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations, dining room, and back-of-house areas

  • Refill water and support guest needs discreetly and efficiently

  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth and coordinated service

  • Uphold all food safety and sanitation standards

  • Follow Mika’s service standards and protocols to enhance the guest experience

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in an upscale restaurant

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, English communication

  • Attention to detail and a sense of urgency

  • Positive attitude, professionalism, and a guest-first mentality

  • Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry up to 30 lbs for extended periods

  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
