Chef De Partie
Position Summary
MIKA by Michael White is seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. This role is ideal for a motivated professional with a strong foundation in fine dining who is committed to excellence, consistency, and continuous growth under the direction of Chef Michael White’s culinary philosophy.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and execute a designated station with precision, efficiency, and consistency
Prepare and cook dishes according to XMIKA standards, recipes, and plating guidelines
Maintain the highest standards of food quality, taste, and presentation
Ensure proper mise en place and station organization before, during, and after service
Train and mentor Commis Chefs and kitchen assistants on station procedures and techniques
Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
Monitor product quality, freshness, and proper storage
Communicate effectively with Sous Chefs and kitchen leadership to ensure smooth service
Assist with inventory control, ordering, and minimizing waste
Contribute to menu development, tastings, and special events when requested
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 2–4 years of experience in a professional kitchen, preferably fine dining or Michelin-recognized restaurants
Solid technical skills and classical culinary knowledge
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistency
Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
Culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred
Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
