Floor Manager
Job Summary
Mika by Michael White is seeking an experienced and service-driven Floor Manager to lead front-of-house operations during service. The Floor Manager plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional guest experience by overseeing daily service execution, supporting the service team, and upholding the standards of a Michael White–led dining experience. This position requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise front-of-house operations during lunch and dinner service
Ensure exceptional guest experiences through active floor presence and table engagement
Support, coach, and motivate servers, bartenders, hosts, and support staff
Maintain service standards, pacing, and presentation consistent with the Mika brand
Handle guest feedback, concerns, and special requests with professionalism and urgency
Coordinate closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service flow
Assist with staff scheduling, break management, and shift coverage as needed
Oversee opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and end-of-day reports
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service regulations
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 2–3 years of management experience in upscale or fine-dining restaurants
Strong knowledge of food, wine, and beverage service
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Hands-on management style with strong problem-solving skills
Familiarity with POS systems and reservation platforms
Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
